Midwestern Section 2013 Meeting
March 23-24, 2013
Chicago State University, Chicago, IL
Abstract submission deadline: March 10, 2013
Late Abstracts will be accepted, but will not be considered for talks.
The midwestern section encourages the participation of younger scientists and views our annual meeting as a unique opportunity for students to present their research and exchange ideas. Each session will include oral presentations by undergraduate students, graduate students and/or postdoctoral fellows.
The meeting program will be determined after receipt of the Abstracts. Submitted Abstracts can be designated as either a poster presentation or oral presentation-or allow the local organizing committee to select the format (either poster or oral). Some requests for oral presentation time may be accepted as poster presentations.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best "Oral Abstract Presentations" and the best "Poster Abstract Presentations." Each category will be awarded 1st Place ($250), 2nd Place ($150) and 3rd Place ($100). A panel of faculty judges will evaluate the abstracts/presentations. The prizes will be announced and awarded at the conclusion of the conference on Sunday.
All abstracts submitted on or before March 10, 2013 will be included in the program book and will be considered for talks. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be considered for a talk. Abstract submission will close on March 17, 2013.
