Adventures of the Agronauts
Adventures of the Agronauts is an online science curriculum for elementary-aged students with an overarching theme: how can we grow plants on the Moon? Children become "Agronauts in Training" and complete six different standards-based lessons towards the final goal of growing plants on the Moon. Teacher resources are included. Glossary contains some movies that demonstrate concepts. Some career information too. Developed at North Carolina State University through the NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training in Gravitational Biology.

Agronomy: K-12
K-12 is an interactive program whereby young students visit Purdue University on field trips and experience plant and soil science then depart with a better appreciation for the role agriculture plays in their daily lives.

Arabidopsis Research Project
A semester-long investigation using Arabidopsis in which mutants are isolated, grown to amplify seed then, and analyzed. Students design their own experiments to compare their mutants to wild type plants in order to learn something about them.

ChemGen IGERT Fellowship
The University of California, Riverside seeks qualified domestic PhD students in biological sciences, chemistry, computer science and chemical engineering to participate in an innovative graduate training program that melds science and technology through chemical genomics research. Fellowships offer interdisciplinary research training that applies chemical biology and chemical genomics to study plant cells and model plant pathogens. Fellowships include interdisciplinary graduate training, with cross-disciplinary coursework and research rotations, internships, travel and research support.
