She has been very busy spreading seeds of enthusiasm for plant science since winning a Grant Awards Program award from ASPB in 2006. With the help of GAP funds, Judy has expanded the outreach of her radio show, “The Plant Detective” starring Flora Delaterre (voiced by Judy). The 90-second show features the world-wide adventures of Detective Delaterre as she searches for specific medicinal plants and discourses on their benefits, risks and efficacy. Graduate Programs This is a list of graduate programs in the plant sciences. 
ASPB Diversity BankThe ASPB Diversity Bank was initiated to promote diversity in plant biology. The ASPB Diversity Bank is an online database of Summer Research Projects and Research Seminars. Projects in Plant Biology are available to Underrepresented Faculty and Undergraduate Students seeking them. Seminars on plant biology research by visiting ASPB scientists are available to minority serving institutions. ASPB members are encouraged to contribute project opportunities and seminar topics. Especially encouraged to apply are faculty and undergrad students who are either underrepresented in Plant Biology or located at minority serving institutions. How to Make a Great Poster Learn the basics of making a great research poster. Making a great poster can be fun and is certainly a challenge! Here are some ideas about how to get the most attention for your efforts. Understanding the Plant Immune System NSF-funded research is greatly expanding our basic knowledge of the plant immune system.
