Congratulations again to all of the 2009 award winners!

ASPB hopes that you will be able to join your friends and colleagues in Honolulu on July 18th for the Awards Ceremony as the Society congratulates these well-deserving plant scientists.

Please visit the annual meeting website for more information on Plant Biology 2009 - and please note that discounted early bird registration prices end Friday, April 24!

Please also note that Murray R. Badger (Australian National University) and William J. Davies (Lancaster University, United Kingdom) have been nominated for the Corresponding Membership Award. Corresponding Members are elected by the ASPB membership, so these nominees' names will be placed on the 2009 Election Ballot. Election ballots will be posted on the ASPB website and mailed on April 17 to those who opted to submit a paper ballot. Please take the time to VOTE, both in the election for Corresponding Members and for ASPB's next president-elect, secretary, and elected member! The Society benefits greatly from your participation in elections.

The election closes on May 29, and the results will be available on June 10, 2009.
